Reconstituted is an album of songs and instrumentals ranging in styles from drum n bass to chill out and dub. The electronic music includes covers of Neil Young and George Harrison songs, funky slap bass, remixing of older Apell tracks and a dub tribute to George W Bush entitled Dubya.

Beaver Street & Beyond began at the legendary address in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This album utilises Apell’s multi-instrumental talents to create diverse and unique electronic music from down tempo grooves to industrial tinged IDM and breakbeats.
The album ranges from the frenetic electronic jazz of Entertainment Complex to the heavy dub of Wrinkle to the drum n bass of Suit Up and more. Guest performers include John Dickens on guitar on the flamenco bagpipe groove of Exciting Soul Cock of the Stirring North to the sublime vocals of Rachael Hawkins on the smouldering Tommorow.
The album has been described as electronic music that would appeal to fans of “Massive Attack, Unkle, Groove Armada, Zappa, Radiohead, John Zorn and many others” - (Marc 'the MEMORY Man' Urselli-Schaerer)

The debut Apell Album released in 2000 is an eclectic collection of 10 tracks varying in styles which include funk, jazz, chill out electronica and even heavy rock.
This album is unique in that most of the drums were actually recorded live in the studio and then computer edited rather than standard drum loops being used. This gave the album a very distinctive sound and groove.
The Apell track on this compilation is Wrinkled which is an extended dub remix of the Asian Dub Foundation meets Count Dracula track Wrinkle from the 2004 Apell album Beaver Street & Beyond.
The tracks extended dub groove features heavy distorted bass loops and some radical sample manipulation of the drum loops and audio samples done in the music production program Ableton Live.
